Ride into myth, wilderness, and conservation.

This Mazingira Adventure moves from the volcanic plateaus of Cappadocia to the rugged, sea-cut edges of the Lycian Coast. Over seven days, we hike through sculpted valleys and ancient rock cities, descend from a 7,700-foot summit to the Mediterranean, walk among Lycian ruins carved into cliffs, travel by boat across a sunken city, and finish on foot along the Lycian Way - arriving by sea into the harbor town of Kaş.
This is an active, immersive experience, shaped by movement through landscape, layered history, and locally rooted hospitality.

Extending the Journey — Continuing the Impact

This journey through Turkey is grounded in the same philosophy that defines Mazingira Adventures: travel that is active, intentional, and connected to place.

From the valleys of Cappadocia to the coastal paths of the Lycian Way, this experience focuses on moving through landscapes shaped by history, culture, and long-standing human connection to the land—while engaging with local communities along the way.

While we are in the early stages of developing conservation partnerships in Turkey, this trip continues to support ongoing work in the Rhodope Mountains through Mazingira Conservation Works. At the same time, it represents an important step toward building future partnerships that align with our model of community-led conservation.

Travel → Fund → Protect → Sustain

This is not just about where we go—it’s about how we travel, and what we build along the way.

Mazingira Conservation Works provides small grants to community groups to support their conservation efforts
