Turkey: Stone, Sea, and Sacred Landscapes
This is an active journey that includes daily hiking and walking across varied terrain. Participants should be comfortable hiking between 6–15 km on some days, including uneven, rocky, and occasionally steep trails.
Accommodations vary throughout the journey and are selected for comfort, character, and location. These include:
A cave-style boutique hotel in Göreme
A heritage hotel in Antalya
A small, locally owned guesthouse in Kaleüçağız
A comfortable hotel stay in Kaş
All accommodations are based on double occupancy and provide a balance between comfort and authentic local experience.

All ground transportation and transfers within Turkey
Professional guiding and trip leadership
All guided hikes and cultural visits in the itinerary
Daily breakfasts and select dinners
Olympos cable car to Mount Tahtalı
Boat excursion in the Kekova region

Hiking is a central part of this journey and varies by region:
Volcanic valleys and soft rock terrain in Cappadocia
Forest trails during the descent from Mount Tahtalı
Coastal paths along the Lycian Way
Trails can include loose gravel, uneven rock, and moderate elevation changes. Hiking poles are recommended for added stability.
Yes, there are a few travel days that include flights and transfers:
Flight from Sofia to Kayseri (via Istanbul)
Evening flight to Antalya
Road transfer from Kaş to Antalya (approximately 3.5 hours)
These are balanced with active days and scenic experiences.
Daily breakfasts are included, along with select dinners (particularly during the stay in Kaleüçağız).
Turkish breakfasts are generous and may include cheese, olives, eggs, vegetables, bread, honey, and tea or coffee.
Lunches and some dinners are left open to allow flexibility and exploration.
